Developed specifically to mitigate the effects of severe lateral stress on tires on spread axle trailers, the all-new RI121 tire provides added durability and delivers longer mileage than leading competitors. Wavy groove walls, spherical groove, and a rounded shoulder profile all work to combat the severe wear commonly experienced by spread axle trailer tires. A new, high scrub resistant tread compound helps resist wear and abrasions to deliver longer tire life, while a lower belt cord angle allows the RI121 to absorb the tread distortion from high lateral forces providing longer, more even wear. Fleets searching for a tire to answer the demands of spread axle trailers need not look any further than the Falken RI121.
