The new GI389 is specifically designed for waste haulers and sanitation vehicles where retreadability and treadwear for high-scrub use are key factors. Developed to perform both on and off the highway, the GI389’s updated tread design with stone ejectors minimizes stone retention to protect the belt package and casing. The robust four-rib tread pattern allows for wider ribs that withstand high braking forces, while a flat tread profile promotes longevity by evenly distributing contact pressure across the tread pattern. To ensure casing durability, a new robust bead construction and lower sidewall heat diffuser technology is incorporated to extend casing life. Engineered for stability and longevity across a wide range of conditions, the GI389 carries the load for waste and recycling fleets throughout North America.

SOLID OUTSIDE SHOULDER WITH CYLINDER HOLES
Allows for greater scrub resistance by creating a wide, stable outside shoulder. To reduce heat damage, cylinder holes that dissipate heat are placed around the outside rib, increasing tread life and casing durability.
